Grilled King Prawns w/ Mango Chilli Salsa

Serves 2-4 | Prep time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 10 Minutes


6 Large Green King Prawns


1 ripe mango

1 red chilli
1 small shallot
Pinch of coriander leaf & stem
Lime juice

Specialty items –


  1. Salsa
    1. Finely dice the mango, shallot, chilli and coriander. Combine and season with lime and a pinch of salt.Prawns

    1. Peel the body of the prawn leaving the head and tail then devein.
      2. Insert a skewer through the tail, all the way to the head.
      3. Season with salt, pepper and olive oil.
      4. Preheat a bbq grill then once very hot, grill the prawns for 3 minutes on each side, turning occasionally to achieve a consistent grill.
      5. Once cooked, serve immediately and generously douse the prawns in the mango salsa. Finish with a squeeze of lime
